These wagons would be repainted with new lettering and numbers, followed by a coat of matt varnish. Where necessary, couplings would be upgraded to the modern narrow type. Where tarpaulin covered wagon is required, a suitable ‘hidden load’ and tarpaulin covering would be fitted to complete the model.
