In the event of an item not being received, then I need to be informed very quickly, in order to make a claim from Royal Mail. Buyers should be aware that such claims can take a number of weeks for the necessary investigations to be undertaken, and any fraudulent claims will be prosecuted by the Royal Mail and the Police.
In the event of finding any item received, being damaged in the postal system, then the buyer needs to take a photograph (before and after opening the package), and then advise me very quickly. The buyer should retain the item and all packaging, in case the Post Office wish to inspect.
However, having said all of this, which I know does appear ‘negative’, I have not yet had to make any claims against Royal Mail, and all items posted have arrived safely....!
